Resell/ Shoe market starting to fail?

I use to be a huge sneaker head, it's what got me into brands, music, and etc... However, now, I just can't help but take notice that everything Nike, Adidas, and all these other companies are doing is repetitive. Retro after retro, exclusive after exclusive, it's all starting to become the same. The market seems to be oversaturated and resellers seem to be pushing the product onto people now, more than ever. Any thoughts on this?
